Dissertation Supervisor Petr Bogusch, 33 p. The aim of this study were aculeate Hymenoptera nesting in cigar galls of Lipara flies on common reed. We are working on this project from the year 2013 till now. Within this project, list of all species using these galls as nest cavities was prepared and specialization of every species was evaluated. Also the difference between inhabiting of natural reed beds in wetland reservation versus reed beds in post-industrial sites was evaluated. Forty six species of Hymenoptera: Aculeata are known to be associated with reed galls, of which 37 make their nests there, and the other are six parasitoids of the family Chrysididae and three cuckoo bees of the genus Stelis. The most dominant species recorded was crabronid wasp Pemphredon fabricii, the specialist on nesting in reed galls. We have described new type of progressive provisioning as typical parental behaviour of this species and also the main fungal species with significant negative effect on its brood. The nest structure of 13 species was recorded and also the description of mature larvae of 16 species and one parasitic fly Thyridanthrax fenestratus was described. The list of all invertebrate species, particularly the insect species, using the cigar galls for food source, nest site, shelter or place for overwintering was compiled. První ka informaceVe druhé o hálkách, jejich charakteru a původcích, se zaměřením na hmyz. a kapitole jsou uvedeny druhy zelenušek vyskytující se na našem území, jsou komentovány rozdíly mezi dospělci a rozdíly mezi hálkami, které tyto zelenušky vytvářejí. Je zmíněno, které z hálek jsou vhodné pro hnízdění žahadlových blanokřídlých. Další kapitola shrnuje využívání rákosových hálek bezobratlými živočichy, zejména hmyzem. Hálky slouží jako zdroj potravy, úkryt, hnízdiště, místo pro přezimování či přečkání nepříznivých podmínek. The list comprises 116 species of Noctuidae (26.4% of the Polish fauna), 116 species of Geometridae (28.4% of the Polish fauna) and 63 species of other Macrolepidoptera representatives (27.9% of the Polish fauna). The remaining 123 species were represented by Microlepidoptera. Nearly 10% of the species were associated with wetland habitats, what constitutes a surprisingly large proportion in such an urbanised area. Comparing the obtained data with previous studies concerning Polish urban fauna of Lepidoptera, the moths assemblages in the Botanical Garden were the most similar to the one from the Natolin Forest Reserve which protects the legacy of Mazovian forests. Several recorded moths appertain to locally and rarely encountered species, as Stegania cararia, Melanthia procellata, Pasiphila chloerata, Eupithecia haworthiata, Horisme corticata, Xylomoia graminea, Polychrysia moneta. In the light of the conducted studies, the Botanical Garden in Lublin stands out as quite high biodiversity and can be regarded as a refuge for moths within the urban limits of Lublin.

Badania wykonano w latach 2012–2013 w Ogrodzie Botanicznym Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu. Ich celem było poznanie struktury jakościowej zgrupowań parazytoidów z podrodzin Pimplinae i Poemeniinae (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae) zasiedlają- cych rośliny na tym terenie. W badaniach wykorzystano 10 żółtych pułapek Moerickego, do których odławiano imagines Ichneumonidae. W latach 2012–2013 z terenu ogrodu pobrano 410 prób. Odłowiono 58 osobników należących do podrodziny Pimplinae, które oznaczono do 21 gatunków. Stanowiły one 15,9% fauny Polski oraz 28,2% gatunków wykazanych z Wielkopolski. Odłowiono także jeden gatunek Podoschistus scutellaris (Desv.), który należał do podrodziny Poemeniinae. W badanym środowisku stwierdzono dominację gatunku Pimpla contemplator (Muell.), który jest endoparazytoidem poczwarek Lepidoptera i Hymenoptera. Po raz pierwszy z Wielkopolski wykazano gatunek Piogaster albina Perkins. It has four subfamilies: Chloropinae, Oscinellinae, Rhodesiellinae, and Siphonellpsinae (Brues et al.,1954). The members of Chloropidae are worldwide distribution or cosmopolitan and are found in all Zoogeographical regions except Antarctica; they are about 3000 described species under 200 genera (Sabrosky,1989; Canzoneri, et al., 1995; Nartshuk, 2012; Bazyar et al., 2015). The grass flies are also found in marshes, vegetation areas, forests; the members of the family are phytophagous. Some species as a gall maker of stems likes Lipara lucens Meigen, 1830 on Phragmites australis (Poaceae) are affected on the morphological tissue (Van de Vyvere and De Bruyn, 1988); and many larvae feed and developed flower heads, shoots and seeds of Poaceae and some feed on the stems of cereals, thus affected of economic production (Alford,1999; Karpa, 2001;Petrova et al., 2013).
