LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 16, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allegiant (Nasdaq:ALGT) today inaugurates low-cost, nonstop travel service between Lexington, Ky., and Las Vegas, Nev. The company will bring "Elvis" and a glamorous showgirl to help celebrate, as well as host a 'Pack Your Bags' event where one spontaneous traveler and a guest will win a trip to Las Vegas on the inaugural flight, a three-night stay at and two tickets to Blue Man Group Las Vegas.The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, will offer fares as low as $84.99* one-way between the two cities.

The new flights will operate twice weekly between Blue Grass Airport (LEX) and McCarran International Airport (LAS), with service Wednesday and Saturday. Flights will depart Lexington at 3:45 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 5:00 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 8:00 a.m. arriving in Lexington at 2:30 p.m. (all flight times are local).
