After a 31 year career with the fire service, Cllr Walsh was first elected to Knowsley Council as a councillor for St Gabriel’s ward in 2008. A lifelong Huyton resident, he is a former pupil of St Dominic’s Primary, Junior and Secondary Modern schools. As well as serving on a range of committees and Cllr Walsh said, boards, Cllr Walsh is a passionate champion of his local community and is the Chair of the Friends of McGoldrick and Sawpit Parks.
