From May 6th through May 23rd, votes for “B93.3 Teacher of the Year” were cast online at www.B933fm.com. As winner of the competition, Hagey will receive a two night stay at Blue Harbor Resort and Conference Center in Sheboygan, WI. In addition to the resort stay, Hagey will receive a grand prize package that includes four excellent tickets to a 2016-2017 Milwaukee Admirals hockey game including one Zamboni ride, a $100 gift card to Stein’s Garden & Home, a $50 American Express gift card from The Vein Guys of Wisconsin, and a “B93.3 Teacher of the Year” trophy from Personalized Awards and Specialties in Mequon, WI. From October through April, one teacher per month was named the “B93.3 Teacher of the Month.” Each winner was selected from teachers that were nominated via the B93.3 website, www.B933fm.com. The “Teacher of the Month” recipients all received a commemorative plaque from Personalized Awards and Specialties and prizes from the Milwaukee Admirals and The Vein Guys of Wisconsin. Hagey beat out six other candidates including Matthew Fanning (October winner, Irving Elementary School, West Allis), Jack Jenke (November winner, Cudahy Middle School, Cudahy), Karen Czubakowski (December winner, Pleasant View Elementary School, Franklin), Laurie Pass (January winner, Glen Hills Middle School, Glendale), Sarah Stratton (February winner, North Shore Middle School, Hartland), and Rob Reinke (March winner, Shady Lane Elementary School, Menomonee Falls).
