    2018 Celebration of the Crest Presents TO FIFTY YEARS Dear Friend of Brother Martin High School, We are celebrating two special milestones in 2018 – the 50th anniversary of Brother Martin High School and the 150th anniversary of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans. The Celebration of the Crest this year serves as a perfect way to say “cheers” to the school we know and love so well and to honor the traditions and history of St. Aloysius High School and Cor Jesu High School, both of which created the foundations for Brother Martin High School. Tonight we know you will have a wonderful time and do so all in support of our school’s mission “to form young men . to meet the needs of a changing world.” Dedicated alumni, parents, faculty and staff, and benefactors of our school have created the event so that you can truly celebrate with us these milestones in our history. The theme, “Cheers to Fifty Years,” calls for celebration, both for all the past glories of our school and its community and for the future still to come. Here’s to our next 50 and 150 years! What you contribute tonight by your good will, your camaraderie, and your support of our auction boards and live auction will directly impact the lives of all Crusaders who walk the halls on Elysian Fields. Proceeds from our event will be used for upgrades to the Robert Conlin Gymnasium, a building that holds a special place in the history of our school, not only because of its hosting many athletic and spirit events, such as basketball games, wrestling meets, and pep rallies, but also because it is the space where our school community gathers for our most important celebration – that of the Eucharist in our school-wide liturgies.
