MOTION PICTURE PRODUCER

In 1964 - organized a film company, the Logos Corporation, and became its president. A film budget was raised, and I produced a wide-screen color feature film, "Bill Wallace of China" which was shot entirely on location in the ancient villages near Hong Kong.

Post production - supervised each phase which included editing, sound effects, music scoring and recording, dubbing, film lab processing, and titles.

Distribution - arranged for the release of the film through negotiating with various picture distributors.

Wrote and directed the assembling of the trailer; designed '· the advertizing accessories, ad art, wrote and recorded radio commercials.

The World Premier of the film was October 4, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee, sponsored by the University of Tennessee. The Premier was used as a benefit performance to raise funds to establish a Bill W.allace Memorial Library at the University of Tennessee.

Following the World Premier thefilm went into general release in theaters throughout the east, southeast, and southwest. The Wilby-Kincey Theater Corp. arranged a tour in major cities where I appeared in connection with the release of Bill Wallace. of China. • • • Chattanooga, Atlanta, Birmingham, Montgomery, Columbus, Ga., Savannah, Columbia, S. C. , Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, Durham - others. In each of these cities I appeared on the local t.v. and radio stations, attended press conferences and civic luncheons.

The Inter State Theater Chain arranged a similar tour in the Southwest - El Paso, Amarillo, Dallas, Abilene, Waco - others.

Dur.ing the past fourteen years -- appeared in over two hundred public speaking engagements -- traveled hundreds of thousands of miles lecturing in colleges, service and civic clubs, churches, seminars, and national conferences.

ASIA: Five trips.

1963: personal appearance tour to Japan, resulting from the popularity of "87th Precinct" t.v. series on Fuji Television network. Appeared before colleges, civic clubs, press and newspaper conferences.

1965: toured southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, including North Borneo. Appeared on numerous radio and t.v. panel programs, answering questions regarding American movie and t.v. production techniques.

1967: production of "Bill Wallace of China" - January to March.

1967: Japan - supervised the scoring and recording of music for "Bill Wallace of China" - plus sound effects at AIO sound studios in Tokyo . . . 1967: Hong Kong - filmed add~d scenes for Wallace film.
