Futhey, a member of Local 950, West Mem - phis, Ark., was re-elected by a vote of 453-34 against challenger Scott Cole , delegate from Local 278, Jackson, Mich. “This vote was a complete repudiation of the four-year effort of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association to take over the UTU,” said Steve Simpson , delegate from Local 489, San Antonio, Texas, following the vote.
