Salem Radio Network Biographies Mike Gallagher began his career in 1978 as a 17-year-old high school senior in Dayton, Ohio by talking his way into an on-air shift at WAVI-AM in his Ohio hometown. Mike has been talking on the radio and television ever since. In 1998, The Mike Gallagher Show was launched nationally with 12 radio stations. Today, Talkers Magazine reports that he's the sixth most listened-to talk radio host in America with over 3.75 million weekly listeners all over the country, including top ten markets like Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Boston, Houston, and Philadelphia. Mike is the 8th most recognized talk radio personality in America (The Benchmark Company). Dennis Prager is one of America's most respected radio talk show hosts. He has been broadcasting on radio in Los Angeles since 1982. His popular show became nationally syndicated in 1999 and airs live, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to Noon (Pacific Time) from his home station, KRLA. Widely sought after by television shows for his opinions, he's appeared on Larry King Live, Hardball, Hannity & Colmes, CBS Evening News, The Today Show and many others. In addition to these remarkable accomplishments, Dennis has also made his mark as a best-selling author and film producer. Michael Medved was born in Philadelphia and raised in San Diego. Janet Parshall is the host of Janet Parshall's America, a three-hour, nationally syndicated program originating from Washington, D.C. Hugh Hewitt is a law professor and broadcast journalist whose nationally syndicated radio show is heard in more than 120 cities across the United States every weekday afternoon. Professor Hewitt is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Michigan Law School. He now teaches Constitutional Law at Chapman University Law School. Professor Hewitt is a frequent guest on CNN, Fox News Network, and MSNBC, and has written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Los Angeles Times. He has received three Emmys for his work as co-host of the ground-breaking Life & Times program, a nightly news and public affairs program that aired on the Los Angeles PBS affiliate, KCET, from 1992 until 2007. .
