UPDATE: JUNIOR “A” LEAGUE COMMISSIONER APPLICATIONS The Ontario Junior “A” Lacrosse League (OJALL) began seeking applications for the role of League Commissioner on August 13th, 2018 in response to the retirement announcement of Dean McLeod. While the initial posting of this opportunity did not specify a closing date for applications, the OJALL Council is prepared to begin initial selections in the near future based on the number of applications it has received to date. This notice serves as a last call for applications; the deadline for submission for interested individuals will be Sunday, September 9th at 11:59PM EST. Interested individuals may submit their resumes as well as their vision for the direction of the OJALL to league secretary Eva Durie at [email protected]. The OJALL thanks all applicants for their interest, however please note that only candidates who are selected for an interview will be contacted.

About the Ontario Junior “A” Lacrosse League The OJALL operates under the governance of the Ontario Lacrosse Association and is comprised of 11 teams; the Lakeshores, the Brampton Excelsiors, the , the Kitchener-Waterloo Braves, the , the Orangeville Northmen, the Peterborough Lakers, the , the St. Catharines Athletics, the Beaches and the . The are slated to become the 12th team beginning in 2019. Players in the OJALL exemplify the highest skill of amateur for players 21 and under, which results in the largest number of rookie athletes entering the National Lacrosse League. Teams in the OJALL compete annually to represent Ontario at the Championship, which is ’s national Junior “A” Lacrosse tournament.
