Rededication of the Liberty Memorial

Mr. Richard H. Koenigsdorf Sr. was a part of Troop 40, later Troop 2, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was an Eagle Scout and joined the Tribe of Mic-O-Say in 1929. Richard was given the Tribal name of Lone Fork, and was a WWII veteran. He earned both the Purple Heart and Bronze Star, and retired from the Army Reserves as a Lt. Colonel. He attended the University of Missouri where he played football and later graduated from its law school. Richard served as County Counselor in Jackson County, Missouri and was nominated to the Jackson County Circuit Court Bench in 1961 where he remained until his death in 1968. He was also Potentate of the Ararat Shrine Kansas City, Missouri in 1963. On May 25th, 2002, the grandson of Mr. Koenigsdorf, Eagle Scout For over ninety years the uniform has been part of Scouting tradition.
