Thank you for your concern however the problem was resolved after i installed avg tuneup utility to clean-up the registry and other system issues. I think microsoft should have such utilities of their own which will be able to detect all sort of possible problems with the system. I thought it problematic that the windows store troubleshooter could not detect a problem and when it did, could not fix it.
