Bury St Edmunds – The Old Billiards Room 50% non-refundable deposit payable at Licensed for 56 people time of booking. Approved Premise Ceremonies offer a wider choice of personalisation, which include vows, readings and music, (subject to venue facilities). You are also offered the opportunity to meet with the Officiating Registrar prior to the day of your ceremony.

Other Fees

Registrars attendance at a Non-Conformist Church £86.00 payable in full at the time of booking

Marriage Certificates £11.00 per copy

Notice of Marriage £35.00 per person

Cancellation Fees

All deposits taken are totally non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Deposits may be transferred to a different venue or office within Suffolk, but a £40 administration fee will be incurred. To transfer a deposit you MUST specify a location, date and time. If you are unable to do this the booking will be treated as a cancellation and the deposit lost.

Refunds

Our policy for the refund of fees where the balance for the ceremony has been paid in full are as follows:-

If you cancel more than 12 weeks before your ceremony, the balance of fees (less the deposit) you have paid will be repaid to you.

If the ceremony is cancelled between 8 and 12 weeks before the date of your ceremony, 50% of the balance (less the deposit) will be repaid to you.

If the ceremony is cancelled up to 8 weeks before the date of your ceremony, there will be no refund given.
