Many HAFTR students joined together recently on a Sunday to enhance the bat mitzvah celebration of a lovely special needs girl named Naomi. Under the leadership of Rabbi Steve Moskowitz, director of Student Activities, the girls spent weeks planning the simcha. They designed the invitations, ordered center- pieces and in costume with props. Mascots made the dance fl oor come alive, and Naomi was swept off her feet.
