She received a letter recently, which began, “This may come as a surprise to you, but you have impacted my life. All too often people here on earth go on day to day without acknowledgement from a single soul about how they touched another’s life. You have touched mine”. This young mom and wife was burning the candle at both ends between school and home. This was having a negative impact on her personal life. Rose shared with her that she herself came back to get her doctorate while raising her family; she pointed out how important family was and that she shouldn’t overload with course work. Rose explained how she personally managed to balance the demands of family and school. This young woman so beautifully thanked Rose for leading by personal example, Doogmah eesheet. The student is now completing her last semester in nursing and her family remains happily together.
