Some thoughts: On Miracles and Hope

Sisterhood Creates a Rainbow of Smiles!

he room was filled with young families, moms, dads and T children of all different ages. There was an abundance of joy, enthusiasm and colors! Our annual Challah baking night was a huge success. This year the event fell on Parashat Noach and we celebrated by creating animal shaped and braided six – strand rainbow challah. It may have been raining outside, but inside the room in our Tava/Ark, was filled with colors, energy and joy and together we created the rainbow! In Parashat Noach the rainbow is a symbol of peace. The rainbow is G-d’s covenant/ brit between G-d and all of humanity to never destroy the earth again. As Sharon Solomon said very beautifully that night; “We are all like the symbol of the rainbow, each one of us represents
