They have been identified simply as "Unknown Interviewer" throughout the transcript. Unknown Interviewer: This is October 29, 1990, and this is a conversation with musician "Catfish John" Tisdell at the KUFM radio studio on the University of Montana campus. Maybe we should just start it off and have us tell you...or have you tell us a little bit about your musical background, about when you started playing music, and what instruments you started playing. And then maybe just talk about some...maybe the songs you perform and — John Tisdell: I don't know if I'm going to remember all of that, you know. I can start off just telling you when I started playing and stuff. Ul: Okay. JT: Take it from there. Started playing guitar when I was about 14 or 13. Now I'm 38. It's been fun. Music's been a good friend. I got myself a 12-dollar guitar, started strumming on it. Took me probably ten years before I started performing. -
