OFFENSE • QB Quinton Flowers broke his own school record with 516 yards of total offense. Flowers set the previous school record with 473 yards at Memphis on Nov. 12, 2016. It marked just the fourth 500-yard game in American Athletic Conference history. • Flowers threw for a career-high 385 yards, which marked the second-highest total in USF single- game history. B.J. Daniels threw for 409 yards against Cincinnati on Oct. 22, 2011. • Flowers became the seventh player in FBS history to reach 7,000 passing and 3,000 rushing yards with his USF record 16th career game with 300-plus yards. • Flowers posted his 13th-career 100-yard rushing game with 131 yards on 16 carries. • WR Marquez Valdes-Scanting posted his second straight 100-yard receiving game with six catches for 152 yards. Valdes-Scantling’s 95-yard touchdown catch on a pass from Quinton Flowers in the third quarter was a career-long connection for both players. It also matched the longest TD reception in school history. • Valdes-Scantling now ranks fourth on USF’s season records chart with 720 receiving yards. He’s up to 10th on school single-season history with 44 receptions.
