But I don’t think that it has ever gone away. It is still there but perhaps in a different form which we may not have recognized. Certainly there was a time when new ideologies, such as communism, atheism, and humanism were supposed to have taken the place of religion. But these theories have failed to produce the wonderful future they had promised and people turned away from them.
