THE RUSSELL FAMILY MAY 2012 Good News ! Once again we find ourselves in a transition time between Good News Clubs and Good News Camp. During these times, we like to try to take opportunities to do some things as a family. Over Easter, we were able to spend a day at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. Even though it was a little cold, we were still able to find some fun things to do in one of our favorite places. We also found a lot of good food to eat. !Most of our family time is spent at home, though. We love to watch movies and play games in our house. We have a few shows on TV that we follow as a family and it’s fun to look forward to them each week. Like most kids, our kids like their electronics too. The basement playroom that used to hold stuffed animals and toys is now a video game, lego, and computer room. They sometimes disappear down there for hours at a time. Last month, we planted a small garden and it’s been exciting to take care of it and watch it grow. We’re hoping to have a few more special family times over the next month before camp starts.
