Army at Syracuse, 12 Colgate goalie Sean Collins posted 82 saves against stiff competition over six games last season. • The third-year goalkeeper already has made eight starts over his first two seasons. A more localized schedule focused on Patriot League competition for this season has the Raiders • facing just two teams ranked among the nation’s top 20 in the early polls. Army is 12th and Lehigh 15th in the USILA Coaches Poll, while those two teams stand 13th and 14th, respectively, in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll. Those two Raiders combined for 30 goals of Colgate’s 70 goals and 14 assists of the team’s 44 assists in six games. • The plan going into this season is four home games and five on the road. Colgate is playing this year in the Patriot League’s North Division alongside Army, Boston Uni- • versity, Holy Cross. The first meetings against those teams -- Holy Cross on March 6, at Army on March 13 and at Boston University on March 20 -- will determine Colgate’s fate for the Patriot League tournament, with the top two teams from each division advancing to the semifinal round at the site of the top overall seed. Colgate University and men’s lacrosse head coach Matt • Karweck agreed to a multiyear contract with TRUE Sports Lacrosse, a leading innovator and manufacturer of premium sporting goods, as the official equipment supplier of the men’s lacrosse team. The 2020 collegiate lacrosse seasons didn’t end the way • anyone wanted. Thousands of student-athletes saw their spring cut short by the global COVID-19 pandemic, and it was a crushing blow. But the Colgate men’s and women’s lacrosse teams chose to do their part to fight cancer and help those who might be especially susceptible to the vi- rus. The Raiders participated in The Last Shift virtual 5K run while raising money to support the HEADstrong Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing es- sential services to those affected by cancer. @ColgateLacrosse GOCOLGATERAIDERS.COM @colgatelacrosse GAME 1 | COLGATE vs robert morris | PAGE 3 2021 COLGATE MEN’S LACROSSE ROSTER Numerical Roster Alphabetical
