THRIVING THROUGH ADVERSITY Coming out of the holiday break as the NHL approaches the mid-way point of the 2019-20 campaign, Pittsburgh’s season can be summed up with one word – perseverance. Despite 148 man-games lost due to injury which has included extended stretches without key players such as Sidney Crosby (20 games), Patric Hornqvist (17 games), Bryan Rust (14 games), Brian Dumoulin (14 games), and Evgeni Malkin (13 games), head coach Mike Sullivan has guided the Penguins to a 22-11-4 record, which is the sixth-best record in the NHL.
