Tabletop easels are also available.) Oil Pastels are OK if you already have these, and if you do, be sure to bring a few small or med. size oil brushes for blending colors with Turpenoid (odorless turpentine) SUGGESTED PAPERS Arches Natural White, Cold Pressed (slightly textured) 140 lb. Water Color Paper or: Canson Mi-Teintes Pastel Paper (white, off white, or cream colors also - bring 1 piece of thick cardboard or foam board, to be used as easel backing support for your paper) Uart sanded pastel papers or paper boards BRUSHES (only needed for oil pastels) 1 small & 1 med. size Oil Bristle Brush (for blending colors) EASEL Any small, adjustable or folding, tabletop easel Stand-up field or French easel (if desired) (Museum Academy will provide single-mast easels for use during the workshop.
