Principal Report Principal Report- Teacher Report Marc commented the school year is up and running-going smoothly with students and staff back in the building-working through new safety routine/cleaning procedures.
Current fundraisers are all on hold. Apparel sale goes until the 13th.
No teacher representatives as of yet-Google sign up will be pushed out to teaching staff (Sarah)
Teacher Proposals Budget Discussion/Approval to take place at September 9 Meeting ● Surf Seats - Julie Bedora-Have received 10 from a parent donation. Would like 30 . Total cost $599.97 for the entire grade level (10 per classroom).-A pproved 9/9 ● 4K Playground/Yoga mats - Ashley Anvelink-3 bags of recess balls/equipment/large parachute/sandbox toys/2 yoga mats for sitting on the classroom floor. Total cost $170.81-A pproved 9/9 ● Play/Hands on Materials - Jane School- Kindergarten: Proposal for approx $1000 for hands on materials-individual supplies for each student during socially distance learning-Can be used for the long term as well-sturdy/plastic.-A pproved 9/9 ● Collaboration Lab - Jackie Markowski-would only be ordered later in the school year (no storage space at this time). Currently have three new televisions for the lab. $6,100 used from the building budget. Soft seating and flexible seating needed-Lab will be used for small group, whole class, and staff meetings Total current cost $7,700-M ay rework materials (currently will reevaluate later in school year)-On Hold-based on storage/timing/outcome of COVID restrictions at this time ● Recess Balls-J ackie Markowski-Each classroom received playground equipment bags. Sunnyside currently spent $1,25.90. Looking for full or partial reimbursement.-A pproved 9/9 ● Music Room Risers- Christie Nimmer-(no storage space at time-would order later in the school year). Total cost $3,700. Four new risers will be used during class instruction. Old risers and new risers will be used for concerts/performances.-T entatively approved to purchase-On Hold--based on storage /timing/ outcome of COVID restrictions at this time Upcoming PTO Events None to report at this time
2019-2020 Budget Approval September 9, 2020 PTO went through the new school year budget 2020-2021- line items. ● No current letter sent out to families for school year donations at this time. ● Fundraiser total (income)$950 at this time ● $6,168- 2020/2021 School Year (expenses)
