Stunden Bower, Shannon. With William Van Arragon (King’s University College), Michael Ferber (King’s University College), Andrew Tappenden (King’s University College) and Mo Engel (University of Alberta). Between the City and the River: A Digital Historical Atlas of Edmonton’s Valley and Its Parks System. Funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Insight Development Grant programme, 2013 granting cycle. Project will include traditional academic outputs (journal articles and monographs) in addition to the digital atlas.

Stunden Bower, Shannon. Mid-20th Century Environmental Transformations in the Canadian West. Large-scale, multi-year research project that examines the dramatic yet little-studied changes on the agricultural prairies in the post- 1930s period, in part through a focus on the federal government’s Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration. Outputs will include journal articles and a monograph.
