Internationally acclaimed Dr. Paul-Henri Spaak said, "Europe is looking for a man so powerful that he will hold the allegiance of all the people. According to the Bible, there will be a revival of the Holy Roman Empire to arise just before the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ; and the Antichrist and false prophet will come out of this Roman Empire. It just happened! 27 nations representing 500 million people are now joined together, agreeing to submit their sovereignty to this European Union. On November 3rd the first European Constitution was adopted and the first full-time president was selected. This is the time in scriptural prophetic history that the promised world dictator of unprecedented authority will appear it is inevitable. The people of the world are looking for this man that that the scriptures describe as the Antichrist. The False prophet and the master the world to subjugate its people, Antichrist will soon come into sight from this European New World body. The Word of God states there will be seven empires in world history before Jesus Christ Pope Benedict XVI returns to the earth. (Revelation 17:10), "There are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space." The five fallen empires referred to by John in this verse are Assyria, Egypt, Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece. The one that ruled at the time John wrote the Book of Revelation was Rome. One more final empire would arise, but there would first be a long delay. That global power would be the "revived Roman Empire." From profits to ethics: pope calls for a new political and financial world order • Global recession caused by greed, says pontiff • Economic crisis is 'clear proof of effects of sin' Recently, Pope Benedict issues a new papal encyclical calling for the end of nation-state sovereignties and the founding of a supreme "World Authority," a supra-government "with teeth." "redistribute wealth" to poorer nations in a socialist scheme and that the new "World Authority" be given control over all the world’s banks and financial institutions. 2 Is the EU in Bible Prophecy? In Europe, many believe that the European Union is an answer to centuries of bloody strife, culminating in two world wars, and that a united Europe is its only hope for peace and prosperity. But is it more accurately the fulfillment of Bible prophecy regarding the Antichrist and the last days before Christ's return? In December 2000 the EU opened a new ££8/$12 billion Parliament Building in Strasbourg modeled on the Dutch artist Pieter Brueghel's famous painting, 'The Tower of Babel'. This begs the question - is the EU the spiritual descendant of the original Babel, and is the EU attempting to rebuild what God 1 once destroyed? A related issue may be the massive computer in Brussels called Euro Net, but nicknamed the 'Beast', the first computer reputed to be capable of storing personal data of the entire world population. Herman Van Rompuy, the E.U.'s New President The European Union has chosen its first full-time president - Belgian Prime Minister Herman Van Rompuy. Leaders of the 27-member bloc also chose a woman for the second top job - British commissioner Catherine Ashton, who will be the EU's new foreign policy chief3 At a press conference in Brussels, the European Union's President-elect Herman Van Rompuy offered a unifying message in English, Flemish and French - vowing to listen and take into account all the diverse views of the 27-member block. So the question: Is this period way off in the Pope Benedict XVI distant future? No! It is SPEAKS AT UN around the corner. The world is on the brink of submission to this latter- day power. This revived Roman Empire is presently assembling and organizing itself under the aegis of the European Union, a federal Super-state that will form the basis for the last one-world government. This dictatorship under Antichrist rules with supernatural power advanced twenty-first century technological police-s t a t e k n o w -how, and unthinkable terror. It is in the making; judge for yourself. Sir Robert Anderson - The Coming Prince says, “The denial of the existence of God and of the future state, in a word, is the dethronement of conscience; and society will pass, to say the least, through a dangerous interval before social science can fill the vacant throne ... But meanwhile mankind, or some parts of it, may be in danger of an anarchy of self-interest, compressed, for political order, by a despotism of force." 4 IBID http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com[Type text] Page 6 The Jewish Bankers are crashing the world banking system to change the world economy into a New World Economic System. The European Community created the European Monetary Institute in January 1994, and it was scheduled to become a central bank issuing a single currency no later than 2002. One can easily see the power, threat, and influence of the euro. In addition to its growing economic prowess, the European Union will formulate common foreign and security policies with defense issues. Soon, all defense policies will be made jointly. The European Union is rapidly dissolving the ideas of national sovereignty in a giant step toward globalism and one-world government. The Super-state is preparing the way for a more powerful central government, one that will eventually be headed by a world dictator. In Daniel 9:27, we see this future Fuhrer making a peace contract with the nations of the earth for seven years. During the first half of this tribulation period, the Antichrist is controlled by satanic powers (Revelation 13:4). However, during the second forty-two months, Satan is cast out of heaven (Revelation 12:7-11) and incarnates the body of this world dictator (Revelation 13:3). When Satan takes over the physical being of the Antichrist, he begins to call himself god, magnifying himself above every god (Daniel 11:36). THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT (1Jn. 4:3),”And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” The spirit of antichrist is already at work.

But perhaps the most severe blow to Tory self-confidence came on the economic front. The chancellor's budget, issued in March, cut income tax by twopence on the pound. This, together with interest-rate cuts following the crash of October 1987, encouraged consumer demand; in the first nine months of the year economic growth was running at an annual 5 percent. This proved unsustainable, however; the budget and Tory economic policy in general lost their shine when interest rates had to be increased nine times in the last seven months of the year as a means to cope with a renewal of inflation and growing trade and balance-of-payments deficits.

Apologies for Absence Apologies for absence were received from Baroness Amos, Ms Zeinab Badawi, Sir Nicholas Grimshaw and Mr David Mach. 2. Chairman's Business The Chairman reported on a letter from the Secretary of State concerning Diversity, Public Appointments and Public Value, which he understood had been sent to other institutions as well as the National Portrait Gallery. While the Gallery can claim a good record, it was important to give this matter careful consideration. In recent years, the better oversight of governance and the introduction of a limit of two four-year terms of service by trustees has helped widen the range of Board membership but has led to a lack of long-term experience of the Gallery's affairs unthinkable at any other period in the Gallery's 150 year history and has made succession planning more difficult. The Chairman said that he would draw his views to the attention of the Secretary of State. The Trustees were of the opinion that the composition of the Board should be considered in the wider context of the developing framework of good governance. It was suggested that legal experience should be included in the skill/experience list for the National Portrait Gallery board as a whole and that consideration should be given to ‘whole board development’ offered by the Clore Foundation.
