TOO DAMN FAST DODGE DEMON® // Strap yourself into Demon’s available 4-point harness. The Red key brings the powerful V8 to life. Activate Drag Mode and, instantly, your suspension recalibrates for maximum weight transfer. The A/C diverts from cabin to super-cool your intake air charge. Roll into the water-box and activate Line Lock. The massive Nitto drag radials spin to over 200 degrees. You’ll hear them gripping and pulling at the track as you creep forward to the starting line. You’re now pre-staged and only seven inches away from countdown. Torque Reserve? Check. Trans-Brake? Check. The supercharger bypass valve closes. Eight pounds of boost build in the manifold waiting for the Trans-Brake release. The yellows go out and you’re gone. 1.8 gs and you’ve cleared the tower. The launch is so violent that over a TON of mass is transferred to the rear of the car, lifting the front wheels off the ground and carrying them for nearly 3 feet. One second into the hit and you’re already doing 30 miles per hour. Still pinned to the back of your seat holding over 1.3 gs … BANG! Second gear … third gear. You just passed 60 mph and you’re only 2.3 seconds in! At the 5.1-second mark, you’re passing 100 mph. It’s just you and Demon and one simple goal: GO DOWN THAT QUARTER MILE FASTER THAN ANYONE ELSE CAN. In 9.65 seconds, you cross the line at 140 mph. What you did there was make history. ///// Challenger SRT® Demon shown in TorRed. Unleash Demon’s full fury with the contents of the official Demon Crate. HELL, YEAH ///// Shown below left: Challenger SRT Hellcat® interior shown in Black Laguna leather with perforated leather inserts with embossed SRT Hellcat logo. DODGE HELLCAT // IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW // When you have the guts to give drivers 707 horsepower, 650 lb-ft of torque and a staggering quarter-mile time, you get the glory of having arguably two of the most coveted cars on the road. Both Challenger SRT Hellcat® and Charger SRT Hellcat house a Supercharged 6.2-liter SRT Hellcat HEMI® V8 engine with upgraded components to withstand the brutal performance. The Supercharger houses internal charge coolers and an integrated electronic bypass valve. The twin-screw rotors are specially treated to accommodate tighter internal tolerances between the rotors and help improve overall performance. In Challenger, air is delivered into the engine’s air box via the Air CatcherTM Inlet Port located in the driver’s side parking lamp. A 92mm throttle body controls airflow into the Supercharger, air charger coolers and then into the inlet port. The Bilstein® Three-Mode Adaptive Damping Suspension on both models provides selectable driving dynamics settings that adjust shocks and transmission shifts to suit any drive — Street Mode (sporty) to Sport Mode (firm) to Track Mode (firmest, max handling). These Drive Modes tailor the driving experience by controlling horsepower, transmission shift speeds, paddle shifters, traction control and suspension settings. Drive Modes are pre-configured for Sport, Track and Default settings, while the Custom Mode allows the driver to configure their own unique driving experience. ///// Charger SRT Hellcat shown in Go Mango, Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody shown in F8 Green and Challenger SRT Hellcat shown in Yellow Jacket. LEADERS OF THE PACK CHALLENGER AND CHARGER R/T SCAT PACK // Direct from the factory both vehicles boast cold-air induction, while Challenger offers an available full floating, open-element Shaker hood scoop. The legendary 392 HEMI® V8 engine unleashes 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque for intense power. Four-piston Brembo® brakes, 3-mode Electronic Stability Control (ESC)[1]* with Full-Off Mode, high-performance suspension with Bilstein® shocks, 20x9-inch wheels and available Three-Season Performance tires work together to bring top-shelf control. The interior merges retro styling with modern technology. Race-inspired seats feature the famed Scat Pack logo embroidered on either standard high-performance premium cloth or available Nappa leather trim with Alcantara® suede inserts. Standard on the R/T Scat Pack model, Dodge Performance Pages feature everything from Launch Control to a g-force meter to drag-race timers. This real-time data can also be displayed on either the 8.4-inch Uconnect® touchscreen or the standard seven-inch reconfigurable digital display nestled between the gauges. For an even greater degree of personalization, both Challenger R/T Scat Pack and Charger R/T Scat Pack have customizable settings that can be accessed through the standard Uconnect touchscreen to give the driver the ability to adjust steering feel, transmission shift points and throttle response. ///// Charger R/T Scat Pack shown in TorRed. *All disclaimers can be found on page 46. ///// Challenger SRT Hellcat® Widebody shown in Plum Crazy. //// TRUE CLASSICS NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE // Challenger seamlessly melds retro styling with fierce attitude. It starts with a heritage split-grille surround, a power-bulge hood with functional inlets, and menacing projector headlamps with quad halo LED surrounds that nod to the famed ’71 model. From the rear, bold, seamless split LED taillamps finish off the intimidating stance. Slide inside and the heritage- inspired Houndstooth cloth seats or the available Black Nappa leather trim with Alcantara® suede seats take you back to a different era. The available front performance seats feature comfortable contours, and large side bolsters help provide maximum lateral support. Charger’s attitude is so intense, it’s impossible to ignore. The first glance sends shivers. The second begs you to slide your hand along its low, lean profile and scalloped body side. The imposing grille leaves no question where this retro-modern muscle came from. Tip-to-tail, Charger commands authority with projector headlamps and LED lighting. The feeling of power doesn’t dissipate once inside, instead it grows as you grip the thick-rim three-spoke Sport steering wheel. Available paddle shifters with rev-matching capability bring track-inspired performance to the everyday drive. ///// Charger Daytona 392 shown in Go Mango and Challenger T/A 392 shown in B5 Blue. WEATHER OR NOT, HERE WE COME // Designed for uncompromising performance, Challenger GT all-wheel drive (AWD) and Charger GT AWD deliver massive control exactly when you need it. Advanced automatic front axle disconnect technologically intuitively and seamlessly transitions between rear-wheel drive (RWD) and AWD without driver intervention. Under normal driving conditions, the front axle is disengaged and 100 percent of the engine’s torque is directed to the rear wheels. When sensors indicate more traction is needed, the system automatically engages the front axle and instantly transitions to AWD mode. These systems work with the vehicles’ Electronic Stability Control (ESC)[1] system to deliver precise front-to-rear torque control while preserving Challenger and Charger’s unrelenting drive. Challenger AWD also employs Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), which provides exceptional traction on slippery surfaces while helping the driver maintain the desired vehicle path. YEAR-ROUND //////////////// ACTION TRACK-PROVEN TUNED CHASSIS High-demanding track conditions require tightly engineered hardware. Challenger R/T Scat Pack, Charger R/T Scat Pack and Challenger 392 HEMI® Scat Pack Shaker showcase a high-performance tuned chassis that’s ready to go. SHOCK ABSORBERS Bilstein® high-performance shock absorbers are precision-damped to help provide a confident, smooth ride for the everyday commute while being capable for weekend track duty. SUSPENSION Options range from Sport-tuned to high-performance to the top- of-the-line competition suspension featuring adaptive damping. A bold combination of movement and staying power comes from a sophisticated suspension geometry and rear-wheel drive. Whether it’s the everyday commute or more challenging driving situations, the independent five-link rear suspension is finely tuned to help provide superior handling and a comfortable ride. When the rubber meets the road, a lower unsprung mass helps maintain better tire contact with the ground and reduces road noise. Models equipped with a 392 HEMI V8 engine feature unique suspension geometry that helps improve balance, cornering ability and steering responsiveness. Exclusive Bilstein shocks and a lowered suspension allow these performers to achieve 0.93 g on the skid pad — on par with some of the world’s best-handling cars.
