1. NUMBERING

Gaps in the numbering have been left for the addition of new paths. The numbers run as follows:

Notations have been used for the different categories of rights of way as follows:-

This notation, which is recommended in The Wildlife and Countryside (Definitive Maps and Statements) Regulations (1983), has the advantage of being easily photocopied. However it is intended to produce a coloured copy for office use.
