Director, Corporate Services North America Navitas USA Holdings LLC (“Navitas”) notices this job opportunity which will be at 24 Federal Street, Level 2, Boston MA 02110. The Director, Corporate Services North America (“Director”) in conjunction with the Vice President, Corporate Services North America will be responsible for the Commercial Finance business functional area to ensure the execution of high quality corporate support to business units and Shared Service Finance in the areas of financial services, information communication and technology, customer services, records management and contract and procurement. The Director will also ensure these services are provided within budget and comply with relevant statutory obligations, regulations, codes, guidelines and policies and organizational directives., as well as monitoring department procedures, recommending improvements, consultation with the senior management team, participating in establishing and implementing major goals and objectives, and serve as a resource for successful business operation. Job duties for the Director are as follows: Develop and integrate budgets for multiple functional areas; Analyze budgets for patterns and drivers of errors; Monitor and communicate budget performance against pre-set targets; Ensure alignment between operating budget and strategic plan; Provide strategic input and advice to management on decisions regarding capital structure; M&A, capital budgeting, and cash dispersion to investors; Articulate the cash implications of business strategy into the company credit rating and liquidity risk assessments; Monitor financial activities and details, such as cash flow and reserve levels, to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met. Devise appropriate internal management reporting of treasury positions and performance; Issue and monitor corporate credit cards to ensure adherence to company policies; Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and external stakeholders to facilitate financial activities. Supervise employees performing financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, budgeting and administrative duties. Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting and administrative staff, recommending and implementing personnel actions, such as promotions and dismissals. Lead and organize staff training and development in budgeting and financial management areas. Coordinate and direct procurement of the organization. Conduct or coordinate audits of company accounts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and statutes. Receive, record, and authorize requests for disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures. Delegate authority for the receipt, disbursement, banking, protection, and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments. Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or foreign equivalent or its equivalent based upon education and experience. The role also requires 5 years of experience in knowledge and understanding of professional accounting principles and practices (US GAAP), external financial reporting, corporate financial, accounting and administrative information systems; synthesizing financial and non- financial information in order to develop activity-based costing tools and methodologies; analyzing qualitative data; skills in analysis, quantitative, and statistical skills; banking and using corporate cash management concepts; understand overall treasury processes and associated risks; and, skills in cash and liquidity management.
