GRAPE VARIETY TASTING NOTE 100% Chardonnay with a nose of fresh fruit and a palate between citrus and white peach, this is an elegant chardonnay with no influence.

VINEYARD Montrose is close to Pézenas, in Languedoc, 15km from the South of France's Mediterranean coast, on the great Côtes de Thongue . The takes it's name from it's vicinity to a Volcano (Mont) and the pink (roses) flowering almond trees which surround the . The know-how this family has gained through generations of making and a sustainable vine growing allows them to create authentic and elegant . The domaine's are lucky enough to be planted on three types of soil: volcanic, chalky clay and siliceous-clay gravel. Montrose is actively involved in preserving and enhancing its terroir’s biodiversity:

- Since 1701, the family has cultivated Montrose’s earth with care for next generations.

- In 2012, they scientifically studied the vineyard’s fauna & flora diversity.

- In 2013, they planted 1053 trees from 21 selected Mediterranean species (oak trees, olive trees, quince trees, strawberry trees, fig trees, wild pear trees…)

- In 2014, they opened ponds to create new ecosystems.

Biodiversity assists in cultivating vines with respect for the environment. Montrose’s wines' elegance and authenticity come from this harmony between terroir diversity, the Mediterranean climate and the knowledge Coste’s family has gained through generations.
