TI TLE OF CRUISE : BALTIMORE FEAST AND LAUGHS CRUISE

D ESTINATION: 39° 16' 56" N 76° 36' 8" W Baltimore Inner Harbor.

Navigation: Exit Magothy River out to Baltimore Light, Head North and then West into the Patapsco River.

Anchorage/Dockage: We are docking for this cruise at the Baltimore Inner Harbor East. Spots have been set aside but you must reserve a spot for your boat by 31 August. Cost is $2.00 per foot per night, plus $5 per night for electricity. Call Millie Auer at 410-625- 1700 and make sure you mention that you are with MRSA. Reservations need to be guaranteed by sending a $15 check to Inner Harbor East, 801 Lancaster Street, Baltimore, Md 21202-4336 (note, they do not take cc over the phone). Activities: So What is Better than Sailing??? Why Sailing to a place where you can eat, drink and laugh of course!!! The weekend of 15-17 Sep we will be joining up with CBC (Chesapeake Bristol Club) for some excellent food, drink and fun at Baltimore Inner Harbor. Here is the plan: Arrive Friday for those who can escape work early, for those of us who cant, arrive on Saturday. We will be docking together at Inner Harbor East and the Marina is grouping us on a pier with tables. Cocktail hour on the dock at 1700 both nights, every one bringing an hors d’oeurve and libation. Friday night dine at a restaurant of your choice (wide variety of excellent restaurants nearby) Saturday have the day to explore the inner harbor and make sure you have a hearty lunch as dinner will be light! Saturday we will do some heavy hor d’oeurves starting at 1630 and then head off to a comedy show at the Comedy Factory at 1830 for 1900. I will be making a group reservation so will need to know who is coming. Show details are below. Following the show we will head off to coffee and some decadent desert and with this fortifying us will proceed for the pleasant moonlit walk back along the waterfront to our boats. Sunday morning 0930-1100 will be a champagne brunch on the dock where everyone brings something to share. Sunday afternoon we regrettably toss off the lines and head home, relaxed and fortified for another gruelling week in the salt mines!
