Spring is in the air. And so is the sound of music. Dust off your best toe-tapping boots, and mark your calendar now for another season of great music at the Ranch.

Chatham County Line We’ll be kicking things off on Sunday, June 18 with Chatham County Line. For the better part of two decades, this Raleigh-based band has been crafting original, modern acoustic music that combines the influence of American roots forefathers with the band members’ own backgrounds in rock ’n’ roll. For a perfect example of what happens when those musical traditions meet, check out “Rock in the River from their latest album, Autumn. Shawn Camp On Monday, July 3, we’ll welcome Nashville songwriter Shawn Camp as he makes his first appearance at the Ranch. In addition to having written top-10 hits for Nashville superstars for the past 20 years or so, Shawn is lead singer for The Earls of Leicester, winners of the 2015 Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album. He’s also a gifted multi-instrumentalist who’s played as a touring and recording musician with Jerry Reed, , , the , and John Prine, among others. Here’s a sample of what to expect at his July 3 performance.

Peter Rowan On Thursday, August 24, our old friend Peter Rowan will be back with us again. Those of you who remember this Grammy-winning legend, who burst onto the musical scene back in the 1960s with Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys, will also remember that he’s constantly stretching his musical boundaries. And, as he enters his sixth decade as an internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter, that hasn’t changed. His seventh appearance at the Ranch, this time in a solo performance, is almost certain to include new songs from his latest Hawaiian-influenced album, My Aloha. You can listen to the trailer for the new album here.

Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley On Saturday, September 2, we’ll be capping off the season with the first appearance of Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley, whose debut album Before the Sun Goes Down earned them a 2015 Grammy nomination for Best Bluegrass Album. Rob was already the most- awarded instrumentalist in the history of the IBMA, having been named Dobro Player of the Year 15 times, when he joined forces with Trey, an up-and-coming musical powerhouse, in their dynamic new partnership. In this video, they show off both their musical chops and Trey’s virtuoso vocal performance. New Chef CJ

Finally, we’re proud to introduce a new featured performer in a different genre: our latest addition to the Ranch family, Clifford John Reum, better known as Chef CJ. Our new chef, classically trained with French techniques, is also skilled in Mediterranean, Asian, Middle Eastern and, of course, New Age Southern cuisine. To make your musical evening complete, we hope you’ll plan to explore his exciting new dinner menu and fine dining experience at the Ranch, complete with wine pairings.

All shows start at 8 pm with a ticket price of $35. Gourmet mountain dinners will be available, separately priced, before every show. Or, for just $190 per person, you can take advantage of special overnight packages that include dinner, show tickets, lodging, and breakfast the next morning – maybe even with the musicians, if you time it right.

Seating for musical events is limited and is nearly always a sellout, so be sure to call us at (828) 926-1401 for reservations.

Happy listening. And bon appétit!
