Chicago Slaughter Report

By Dick Kolf

The 2012 season of the Chicago Slaughter will be starting up again.

Last season the Slaughter ran into the playoffs with thrilling wins be- hind fourth quarter heroics by Kicker Chris Nendick. This season, change is in the air at the Sears Center.

Coach McMichael looks to rebuild the Slaughter with the departure of notable players Jarrett Payton and Chris Nendick. Look for the team to feature a strong defense that will close down the alleys for opposing offenses this season, and a return to Slaughter Ball with a run and shoot offense with explosive running game on tap.

The Slaughter begin the season Feb- ruary 19th against the Blooming- ton Steele. For ore information on the upcoming season and the Arena League visit the Slaughters' web site.
