Alert all those involved with the emergency that the patient has been exposed to pesticides and to protect themselves from exposure when handling the patient or container. (2) Call a physician immediately. If the family physician is not available, the patient should be taken to the nearest physician or hospital emergency room together with the CONTAINER OF THE POISONING AGENT. If you are the patient, do not drive yourself unless there are extenuating circumstances. (3) If necessary the PHYSICIAN will call the nearest poison control center for further information as to the toxicity of the suspected agent, treatment, and prognosis.
