Colt Connection Week of March 19, 2018

Give back and feel great!

One of my favorite times of the week is when Mrs. Gibson brings her "kids club" to the oce for food treats to take home for the week and weekend! The children are so excited to see what is in their bag each week. This amazing program is provided by our friends, Nicanor. Without them, we would not be able to have our backpack program. If you are heading out for dinner, this is a great night to not only enjoy fun events and good food, but also to support such a special program! We are excited to have 3 new authors this week!

The Wishing Well. The of Doctor Octopus - Book One by: Romeo - grade 3. This 28 page book follows the adventures of Doodle Bop, Frank, Allie, Zac and a talking dog named Sparky as they help remove the Wishing Well Curse from Doctor Octopus.

Everyone Likes Doughnuts by Saphira - grade 3. In this book the main character, Doughnut, competes in a race! How does Doughnut do? You will have to read the book to nd out!

1st grade student, Abby, wrote My First Day of School. This book explains the things she remembers from her rst day of school. A "must read" for students as they begin their schooling career!
