I never take the dial on any of my radios off 10301!

It means a lot to me.

My husband was killed in Missouri in a one car accident the last day of June and I have just gotten out of a wheelchair, so I am alone a lot except for my music friends at 1030.

Thank you for all the wonderful company you provide.

Hi there. Your programming is outstanding. Your website is great also. I'm Ross Stagnitto, a local resident here in i Oro Valley. I've been listening to this stuff since being a kid back in the late 40's early 50's-and my love for it has never gone away. We've been "snowbirding" it from "Finger Lakes" country in upstate New York for 9 years now. Back there I listened to 850 A.M.-WYLF similar programming to 580 A.M.here as I believe they both come inion satellite from Texas. We moved here permanently from NYS in late October. Discovered your great radio station about a month ago and have been a faithful listener since~ Just wish someone could clear up that "garbally" distorted transmission I hear at different times of the day.·( don't believe it's a reduced power thing, or might it be? I do have a rather elaborate audio system as it's been my lifelong passion and I do have an eXtensive collection of LP's-the kinds of things you play. I have never heard, however, your SHEER NUM~ER of outstanding "oldie hits" played on any other radio station! Keep up the good work. I'll pass the wqrd around. Ross Stagnitto . .

Great station. My husband and I recently moved to Tucson and we always listen to this station.

However we have trouble getting reception from about 7:00 PM until around 6:00 AM. Why is this?

We live in Tucson so there shouldn't be any interference. Are you aware of this? Would sure love to listen in the evenings on our patio.

Again thanks for the good tunes.

Dear Ana Ames,

You have just made this Utahn very very happy. I discovered your wonderful station on a visit to Tucson last year to see my father and sister. And I dedicated an AM button to it for whenever J am in the state. I just this past week was in and listened to you in my car radio every day. I told my husband it was as if you read my mind and created a "Shirley's Favorite Music" station. I was sorry to drive to Phoenix (to visit our kids and grandkids) and lose you.

And now here you are on my computer. Love it!!!!

Thanks again.

Ana-

Just received the e-mail that you are now streaming - thanks.

I also have a request - how about a little more 'rock-a-billy' music from the early '50s- Carl Perkins, The Comets, and ofcourse, some ofthe earlier Elvis, .... .

I actually listen to three stations during the week at my desk: 1030, 1400, and 1450. I will : listen to each for a few days and then switch. All three ofyou have relatively small play lists and when I start hearing the same songs, I tune to another station.

IfMr. Sloan is considering acquiring another station, tell him we need a 'traditional' country/western station that plays oldies - Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Bob Wills, Patsy Klein, .... A few modem artists fit this mold, especially Asleep at the Wheel and LeAnn Rimes.

Thanks for being there and have a good holiday,

Mike.

Hi guys

I like the old pop classics, pre-WW11 up through the sixties, but there hasn't been a radio station' in Tucson that used that format for a decade or more. But Benita (my secretary) had a station on this week that is just that kind. It is apparently a "new" station that describes its location as "Cortaro," which means northwest Tucson. We can get it down at our house, but your reception should be much better (don't know about you, Rae)'. Anyway, the station is at 1030 on the AM dial. It's call letters are KCEE. Give it a try. I think you'll like it - especially Pete.

I really like your new station. Stations 580, 1400, and 1080 just faded away. Unfortunately, there is a BUT. Maybe it is more of a But.. : Until I found your website I could not identify many of the artists who were singing such familiar songs.(1 can't say enough about how you will use many of the same singers, but vary the titles they sing. On other stations the same songs and artists are repeated ad ' nauseum.) I do not think I ever did know many of the artists. Now, today, I find that I have to print out the song list if I have forgotten the singer's name. (I know. The easy answer is check the computer. My response is, in the middle of the night?)This is a format I have never encountered. Can't you afford DJs? Perhapsjust a brief mention of the relevant artist by the engineer? Anyway, I can't . thank you all enough for remembering probably the best decades of GOOD music. Tom Carlson .
