What do you like most about Saint Paul?

What I enjoy most is being with other students. Since we have students from various parts of the world, it has been a great experience learning about their country, customs, way of life, and their families. We have become very close.

I have also become close to families in Concordia since a friendship has developed with students from the Concordia area. Concordia, the school, and local family homes, have become more of a home for me than Red The first person to correctly identify the “Can you Bud. Don’t misunderstand, I love my home and family identify?” photo in the spring 2015 issue was in Red Bud. Howard Hilsabeck (SPC ’52) of Houston, Texas. We have great proctors, John Weinhold, Paul Pardieck, Don coaches who not only teach us how to play the game, but Miesner, and Don Nordmeyer. teach us sportsmanship, self-control, character, and how to put forth your very best.

Yes, I go to class, do homework, and want to learn all I can. I know under the guidance of great instructors I am being prepared for my future years. I’m grateful for being at a school which builds on my home teaching and influence to live as a Christian and give glory to God for talents and abilities.

What are your plans after SPLHS?

I plan on attending the University of Missouri to receive a degree in chemical engineering. I will go wherever God and my chemical engineering degree take me.
