FOSTER Evelyn Ann Brudi Foster, age 81, a long time resident of Yorba Lin- da, California, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 27, 2016, after a long courageous bat- tle with cancer. She was with her husband and loving family. Evelyn Ann was born to Carl and Lois (Winter) Brudi, on the fam- ily farm, in Woodbine, IL, July 13, 1935. Evelyn was confirmed in 1949 from Christ Lutheran Church, Stock- ton, IL. She was a graduate of Stock- ton High School, class of 1953, with additional college courses. She moved to Long Beach, Cali- fornia in 1955 where she met her husband Jack. They married Sept. 3, 1955. She loved sewing, with many beautiful projects completed. Discovery Center hosts New Year’s Eve celebration for families Discovery Center Museum will host a kid-style New Year’s Eve party on Saturday, Dec. 31 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Science, games, music, crafts and art come together as Discovery Center counts down to midnight - somewhere in the world - at 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. during Countdown to Fun!
