Wilhardt settled on a Pit Bull/Rottweiler mix from what she calls a “backyard breeder.” With an ironic twist that turned prophetical, Wilhardt named him Sweet Jethro Pagan. He grew to 120 pounds, had a head like a bowling ball, and he didn’t Jethro (his shelter name) is longing for a like people or other dogs.
