ORDER

MADE BY THE PRESIDENT UNDER SECTION 189(1) OF THE DEFENCE ACT

THE DEFENCE (JUNGLE WARFARE, LIGHT INFANTRY TACTICS AND SPECIAL OPERATIONS) (REQUISITION OF LANDS) (NO. 3) ORDER, 2001

1. This Order may be cited as the Defence (Jungle Warfare, Light Citation Infantry Tactics and Special Operations) (Requisition of Lands) (No. 3) Order, 2001.

2. (1) The lands described in Part A of the Schedule are Requisi- requisitioned for the period 12th May, 2001 to 31st May, 2001, for the tion of lands Schedule purpose of the training, exercises and manoeuvres in “Jungle Warfare” of the Defence Force in pursuance of the Joint Combined Exchange Training Programme which is scheduled to take place from 12th May, 2001 to 31st May, 2001.

(2) The lands described in Part B of the Schedule are requsitioned for the period 13th June, 2001 to 13th July, 2001, for the purpose of training, exercises and manoeuvres in “Light Infantry Tactics and Special Operations” of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force in pursuance of the Joint Combined Exchange Training Programme which is scheduled to take place from 13th June, 2001 to 13th July, 2001.

SCHEDULE (Paragraph 2) PART A

The requisitioned area shall comprise State lands within the following boundaries for the period 12th May, 2001 to 31st May, 2001: on the north by a line commencing from the Chacachacare Lighthouse (061˚ 45' 24" Longitude, 10˚ 41' 30" Latitude) and running in an east north-easterly direction to Corozal Point (061˚ 37' Longitude, 10˚ 44' 42" Latitude) and running in an east south-easterly direction to Morne Jean (061˚ 35' 10" Longitude, 10˚ 43' 45" Latitude); on the east by a line commencing from Morne Jean (061˚ 35' 10" Longitude, 10˚ 43' 45" Latitude) and running in a southerly direction to Nelson Island (061˚ 36' 25" Longitude, 10˚ 39' 30" Latitude); on the south by a line commencing from Nelson Island (061˚ 36' 25" Longitude, 10˚ 39' 30" Latitude) and running in a west north-westerly direction to Diamond Rock (061˚ 46' 24" Longitude, 10˚ 40' Latitude); and 298 Defence (Jungle Warfare, Light Infantry Tactics and Special Operations) (Requisition of Lands) (No. 3) Order, 2001

on the west by a line commencing from Diamond Rock (061˚ 46' 24" Longitude, 10˚ 40' Latitude) and running in a north-easterly direction to Chacachacare Lighthouse (061˚ 45' 24" Longitude, 10˚ 41' 30" Latitude).

PART B

The requisitioned area shall comprise State lands within the following boundaries for the period 13th June, 2001 to 13th July, 2001: on the north by a line commencing from the Chacachacare Lighthouse (061˚ 45' 24" Longitude, 10˚ 41' 30" Latitude) and running in an east north-easterly direction to Corozal Point (061˚ 37' Longitude, 10˚ 44' 42" Latitude) and running in an east south-easterly direction to Morne Jean (061˚ 35' 10" Longitude, 10˚ 43' 45" Latitude); on the east by a line commencing from Morne Jean (061˚ 35' 10" Longitude, 10˚ 43' 45" Latitude) and running in a southerly direction to Nelson Island (061˚ 36' 25" Longitude, 10˚ 39' 30" Latitude); on the south by a line commencing from Nelson Island (061˚ 36' 25" Longitude, 10˚ 39' 30" Latitude) and running in a west north-westerly direction to Diamond Rock (061˚ 46' 24" Longitude, 10˚ 40' Latitude); and on the west by a line commencing from Diamond Rock (061˚ 46' 24" Longitude, 10˚ 40' Latitude) and running in a north-easterly direction to Chacachacare Lighthouse (061˚ 45' 24" Longitude, 10˚ 41' 30" Latitude).
