BOO AT THE ZOO: DRIVE-THRU!

Boo is back and better than ever!

In 2021, Boo at the Zoo will once again be a re-imagined 1.5-mile drive-thru Halloween experience. Guests will ride on Zoo pathways through themed areas, carved pumpkins, light shows and enjoy Boo at the Zoo all from the comfort of their cars.

New this year! Guests can trick-or-treat from their vehicles! Tasty treats will be handed-out along the route.

This event is a merry-not-scary ride, appropriate for kids of all ages, and kids at heart.

Advanced, online tickets are required, and available beginning Sept. 15 at 8 a.m.

Boo at the Zoo Drive-Thru is a fundraiser, and guest participation directly supports the Milwaukee County Zoo and the 2,200+ animals in our care.

ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S® MILWAUKEE COUNTY ANTICIPATED TO RAISE MORE THAN $700,000

MILWAUKEE, WI SEPTEMBER 19, 2021 – More than 1,800 walkers from across the area participated in this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Milwaukee County at Henry Maier Festival Park, 639 E. Pl., Milwaukee on Sept. 19, 2021. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s rejoined in person this year, with the health and safety of participants, staff and volunteers remaining top priorities. The Walk is anticipated to raise more than $700,000 to fund research and local services in Milwaukee County including support groups, education, information and referral services, care and support, advocacy efforts and a 24/7 Helpline – 800.272.3900.

“The Walk to End Alzheimer’s plays a critical role in advancing our mission in the fight against Alzheimer’s and other dementias,” said David Grams, Executive Director, Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter. “We’re grateful for how the local community rallied together to bring awareness and funds to support our mission. We thank everyone for their unrelenting dedication to helping us end Alzheimer’s.”

Congresswoman Gwen Moore joined the 2021 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Milwaukee County. “I am honored to join this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Milwaukee,” Moore said. “Millions of Americans are touched by this disease, including residents in our community.
