Information / Checklist Yes/ Details thereof (with approximate quantities No. confirmation No /rates, wherever possible) with source of information data 1.1 Permanent or temporary change in: Landuse No Total Plot Area : 106 Acres = 428967 Sqm The Landuse of 97 acres out of total 106 acres was changed from 'Rural Use' to ' Public-Semi Public' as per notification no.k-13011/9/96-ddib dated 1st sep,97 ,issued by ministry of urban affairs & employment, deptt of urban development). Land cover Yes The pockets to be developed (Pocket 1, Pocket 2, Pocket 3 and Pocket 4) are presently vacant land, which will be developed for residential blocks, parking and green areas. Hence there will be permanent change in the land cover. Topography Yes Topography of Pocket 1, Pocket 2, Pocket 3 and Pocket 4 is presently slightly undulated. These areas will be leveled for construction purpose. Hence there will be change in the topography within the project area. including increase in intensity of land use (with respect to local landuse plan) 1.2 Clearance of existing land, Yes At present, the entire plot has 1980 number of trees. vegetation and buildings? The area under development of first phase of the project pocket 2, pocket 3 and pocket 4 is devoid of any vegetation, trees and buildings. Hence no clearance of existing land, vegetation and building is envisaged. However, pocket 1 has 41 trees, out of which 9 trees are expected to be cut/ transplanted in order to develop the roads, and buildings. These trees will be cut/transplanted in consultation with the forest department and only after obtaining the Tree Cutting/ transplanting permission from Forest department. Remaining 32 trees shall be retained within the pocket 1. Compensatory plantation of 90 trees (10 times the trees cut/ transplanted) will be done within the project site itself. Some existing Barracks (Temporary Structures) are expected to get demolished in pocket 1. 1.3 Creation of new land uses? No The Landuse of 97 acres out of total 106 acres was changed from 'Rural Use' to 'Public-Semi Public' as per notification no.k-13011/9/96-ddib dated 1st sep,97 ,issued by ministry of urban affairs & employment, deptt of urban development).
