WJCT S TUDIOS Benefitting the Children of Riverside Presbyterian Day School 25 Y EARS OF CAPERS Capers began on a dare. rPDS had a need and two passionate parents who wanted to help said, “We’ll plan a party and raise the money to support the need.” With that, a 25-year tradition began thanks to those parents and this year’s honorary chairs: Jan Andrews and Kitty Crenshaw. Through the years Capers has raised money for a multitude of projects, plans and endeavors, and each Capers has supported the mission of rPDS. That mission - “to educate the mind, nurture the spirit and foster the development of the whole child” - is the center of this year’s celebration.     The Story of JOI Rehabilitation In December of 2013, Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute (JOI) Rehabilitation will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Our history began when the JOI Physicians wanted to improve the overall quality of care by offering Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Athletic Training Services to their patients. On December 1st, 2003, the San Marco center was the first center to open its doors. JOI Rehab started with 14 employees on its first day and 8 of those employees are still employed by JOI Rehab. On December 1st, the first day of business for JOI Rehab, 68 patients were seen. From the beginning, we pro- vided Athletic Training Services to Bishop Kenny High School, The Bolles School, Bishop Snyder High School, Florida State College at Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Very quickly the need for more centers became apparent. JOI Rehab aggressively opened new centers to meet the growing therapy needs of our patients. The Beaches clinic opened in January of 2005, University in July of 2005, Point Meadows in October 2005, South in January of 2006, Westside in April of 2006, North in January of 2007, Mandarin in December of 2008, and Fleming Island in January of 2010. Today, JOI Rehab employees 103 employees in these 9 locations dedicated to serving our patients and providing high quality health care. We have expanded our Sports Medicine Program by providing athletic training services to Episcopal High School, Providence High School, Atlantic Coast High School, The Jacksonville Sharks and The Jacksonville Roar. We also provide physical therapy services to the student-athletes of Jacksonville University.

    Jacksonville, Florida Head of School Introduction The Bolles School is a nationally renowned, independent day and boarding School serving 1,680 students in Pre-K through grade 12 on four campuses in Jacksonville and surrounding communities.
