Key Laboratory of Zoological Systematics and Evolution,Institute of Zoology,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100101,China 2. College of Life Science and Technology,Xinjiang University,Urumqi 830046,China Abstract Five genera of T etracampidae ( Hymenoptera,C halcidoidea) were recorded from C hina, including two newly recorded genera: Epiclerus and Tetracamp. T wo newly recorded species,Epiclerus nomocerus ( M asi) and Tetracampe impressa Frster, are firstly reported from C hina. M orphological descriptions, hosts and distributions are provided. A key to genera of T etracampidae from C hina is given here. All the specimens are deposited in the Zoological M useum,Institute of Zoology,C hinese Academy of Sciences. Base of fore wing bare,non-pubescent,or with at least a Frster ( 1856) established family T etracampoidae when he narrow speculum; tarsi 5-segmented; mariginal vein was first distinguished the group. Later it was classified as a thickened, foliately enlarged or sausage-like in males, not subfamily of Eulophidae. Domenichini ( 1953 ) and Boucˇek thickened ………………………………………………… 2 ( 1958 ) subsequently treated the group as the family W hole fore wing densely hairy ( Figs 4,10 ); tarsi 5- T etracampidae. Boucˇek ( 1988) treated that the family was not segmented in female ( Fig. 12 ) and 4-segmented in male easy to delimit,it has been regarded as intermediate between ( Fig. 6); marginal vein not thickened in male ………… 3 Pteromalidae and Eulophidae by the following characters: the 2. Notauli incomplete; head as broad as thorax; ovipositor not antennae have 11 or 12 segments ( 1 153 or 1 163),the clava is protrude …………………………… Platyneurus Sugonjaev undivided sometimes; the frons mostly bear a cross-groove Notauli complete but shallow ; head broader than thorax; above the antennal toruli; the mandibles are small; the occipital ovipositor slightly protrude …… Mongolocampe Sugonjaev carina is present; the scutellum frequently bears 2 pairs of 3. Petiole quadrate to longer than broad ( Fig. 5); propodeum bristles; the wings are completely hairy, marginal vein is more with bristly pilosity directed towards median carina ……… than 4 times as long as stigmal vein. …………………………………………… Epiclerus Haliday , U ntil now 51 species belong to 16 genera have been Gastral sessile or nearly so ( Fig. 11),petiole at least slightly ( , ) described in this family Noyes 2012 . M ost species were transverse in dorsal view ; propodeum often different …… 4 recorded from Nearctic and Palearctic Regions. Boucˇek 4. M alar space hardly longer than breadth of torulus; petiole recorded that the Australasian species developed as parasites of virtually invisible in dorsal view ; propodeum broadly shiny; leaf miners or as parasites in eggs of leaf-eating larvae. T here female gaster much longer than thorax, epipygium produced , , are three genera Platyneurus Sugonjaev Mongolocampe Sugonjaev covering long sheaths ……………… Cassidocida Crawford and Cassidocida C rawford were recorded from C hina ( Boucˇek, M alar space much longer than breadth of torulus; petiole 1988; Yang,1990) . In this study,2 newly recorded genera, transverse but partly visible dorsally; propodeum often with Epiclerus Haliday and Tetracampe Frster, are found in C hina. distinct hairs on submedian area ( Fig. 11); female gaster T herefore there are 5 genera recorded in C hina.
