KEEGAN BRADLEY - Even though Keegan Bradley hasn’t won this season like he did his first two years on the PGA TOUR, he still enjoyed a successful campaign in 2013. At two tournaments where he had previously won (HP Championship and the -Bridgestone Invitational), Bradley posted second-place finishes this year. In addition, he posted four conseCutive top-10 finishes, beginning with the start of the Southern Swing at . This is Bradley’s first appearance on a Presidents Cup team after a memorable performance at last year’s Ryder Cup. In three years on the PGA TOUR, Bradley has three victories, including his 2011 win at the PGA Championship, three runner-ups and 16 total top-10 finishes. He finished 2013 a career-high 18 th in the FedExCup standings.

The Presidents Cup: First appearance finishes: • 2013: T50 • 2012: Cut • 2011: Cut

JASON DUFNER - This season is a year of redemption for Jason Dufner. He celebrated a popular victory at the PGA Championship at Oak Hill this August thanks to his spectacular ball-striking ability. It’s difficult to remember another recent major champion who played in the final group and produced three kick-in birdies in the final round en route to victory. Just two years prior, Dufner seemed to have the PGA Championship in hand until he suffered a defeat to Keegan Bradley. Although the major championship was also his first victory since winning twice in May 2012, the streaky Dufner was trending in the right direction. He posted a pair of T4s at the U.S. Open and World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational leading up to the PGA Championship. He now has three career victories. Like Bradley, he too is playing in The Presidents Cup for the first time in his career.

BILL HAAS – In 2011, Bill Haas entered the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola knowing exactly what he needed to do to make the U.S Presidents Cup Team. Captain Fred Couples made it very clear: if you win, you’re on the team. Haas went out and did just that, winning in a dramatic, sudden-death playoff over teammate Hunter Mahan and claiming the FedExCup title in the process. Two days later, he was named to The Presidents Cup U.S. Team as one of Couples’ captain’s selections. In 2013, Haas didn’t need such dramatics as he played well enough to secure one of the qualifying positions on this year’s squad. Haas won for the fourth conseCutive season by claiming his fifth PGA TOUR victory at the AT&T National in July. His season includes career-best numbers in top 10s (9) and top-25 finishes (15). Haas went 2-3 in 2011, his only appearance at the Presidents Cup.

During this year’s Memorial Tournament, Haas was the second-round leader, eventually finishing T4. Haas recalled caddying for his father and Presidents Cup assistant Captain, Jay, at the Memorial Tournament when he was in college. He also remembered, “Mr. Nicklaus gave me a sponsor exemption when I first turned pro to play in this event. It's something I'll never forget, because this is one of the greatest fields in golf to play when you're just out of college. It meant a lot to me. And certainly this place, even though I've never really had great success here personally, I love coming back, look forward to it every year. And part of it might be I've always known how much my dad liked it and how well he did here,” he said.

ZACH JOHNSON – Despite a sluggish start by his standards, Zach Johnson came on strong at the right time, making a crucial putt at the Deutsche Bank Championship, which resulted in him jumping into the top 10 in the standings. Johnson validated his position his next time out on the course with his 10 th career PGA TOUR victory at the BMW Championship to move from No. 27 to No. 4 to qualify for the TOUR Championship by Coca- Cola for the fifth time. After the first half of the season, Johnson was just inside the top 100 in the FedExCup. The sites of his two wins last year pushed him forward to a second-half surge. He had a third-place finish at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial and a playoff loss at the . He parlayed that momentum into four consecutive top-10 finishes, and then after skipping The Barclays to be the best man at his brother’s wedding, Johnson rallied for a final-round 66 at the Deutsche Bank Championship to narrowly qualify for the U.S. Presidents Cup Team. Johnson returns to the Presidents Cup after missing out on the 2011 event following appearances in 2007 and 2009. Johnson has played in the Memorial at Muirfield eight times with his best finish coming in 2006 when he finished runner-up, two strokes behind .

MATT KUCHAR - Perhaps the most consistent player on the PGA TOUR over the last four seasons, Matt Kuchar made his Presidents Cup debut at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in 2011. Kuchar enters The Presidents Cup with 37 top-10 finishes since the start of the 2010 season, the most of any player on the PGA TOUR over that stretch. He returns to Muirfield Village as the latest champion of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance, having won the event earlier this year. Kuchar is one of five multiple winners in 2013, recording multiple victories in a season for the first time in his career by winning the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship and the Memorial Tournament. Kuchar has finished in the top 10 in each of his last five events at the Memorial.

HUNTER MAHAN - Hunter Mahan comes to Muirfield Village a veteran of three previous editions of The Presidents Cup. Mahan compiled a record of 4-1-0 at The Presidents Cup 2011 in Australia and is 8-5-1 in his career in the competition. A five-time winner on the PGA TOUR, Mahan won twice on the PGA TOUR in 2010 at the Waste Management and World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational and twice again in 2012 with wins at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship and the Shell . Mahan nearly defended his Accenture Match Play Championship title earlier this year, finishing runner-up to Matt Kuchar. Since the 2011 Presidents Cup, Mahan’s combined match play record (The Presidents Cup and Accenture Match Play Championship) is 15-2-0.

PHIL MICKELSON - Phil Mickelson arrives at The Presidents Cup 2013 as the only player on either team to have participated in all nine previous editions of The Presidents Cup. In addition to his Presidents Cup appearances, Mickelson has also participated in the last nine Ryder Cup competitions as a member of the United States team. In a season highlighted by his fifth major championship – – Mickelson also recorded a victory at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. During his win in Phoenix, Mickelson’s putt to shoot 59 lipped out on the final hole. Mickelson also finished runner up at the U.S. Open (a record sixth runner- up finish at the event). He has won multiple events 14 times in his career. With wins in each of the last 10 seasons on the PGA TOUR, he owns the longest active streak. Mickelson has won at least one tournament in 20 different TOUR seasons, trailing only (24) and Jack Nicklaus (21).

WEBB SIMPSON - U.S. Team Captain Fred Couples watched Webb Simpson fall out of the top 10 in the standings on the final putt of the eligibility window as Zach Johnson edged Simpson for the No. 10 position during the last round of the Deutsche Bank Championship. Couples wasted no time making the 2012 U.S. Open winner a captain’s selection for this year’s U.S. Presidents Cup team. Simpson, who will play for the second time in the event, had a solid season despite playing the year without a victory. His year included a playoff loss to Graeme McDowell at the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head and a 4 th at the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola. In 2011, Simpson was paired with fellow Presidents Cup rookie for all four rounds of partner play. Couples sent them out in the first match each day. As rookies, they set the tone with a 4-and-2 victory in opening Foursomes against Ernie Els and . The next day, Couples put Watson and Simpson in the opening group again and they defeated Els and Ishikawa, 3 and 1. Simpson ended the competition with a 3-2 record.

Brandt Snedeker - One of the best on the PGA TOUR, Brandt Snedeker will play in his first Presidents Cup thanks to back-to-back successful seasons in 2012 and 2013. Last year, Snedeker entered the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola at No. 5 in the standings and in control of his own destiny. With his victory at the TOUR Championship, Snedeker took home the tournament trophy as well as the FedExCup. This year, Snedeker became the first FedExCup champion to return to East Lake Golf Club thanks to a season- career-high nine top-10 finishes, including wins at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and the RBC , and a T8 at the BMW Championship leading into the Playoffs Finale. In six trips to Muirfield Village for the Memorial, Snedeker has yet to make the Cut and only has one round in the 60s, an opening- round 69 in 2012.

Jordan Spieth - Jordan Spieth started the 2013 season without status on the PGA TOUR and unranked in the Presidents Cup standings. The 20-year-old from the University of Texas began the year by playing in TOUR events via tournament sponsor exemptions with hopes of earning enough money to gain his card for next season. A runner-up finish at the followed by a T7 at the Tampa Bay Championship put Spieth in good position to reach that goal. More top-10 finishes came at the RBC Heritage (T9), the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial (T7) and the AT&T National (6).

Spieth then made history at the John Deere Classic when, at age 19 years, 11 months, 18 days, he became the youngest winner on the PGA TOUR since won the 1931 Santa Monica Open at age 19 years, 2 months, 4 days. Since 1900, Spieth is only the fourth player under age 20 to win on TOUR. The win was highlighted by a holed 45-foot bunker shot on the 72nd hole to force with defending champion Zach Johnson and . With the win, he earned full membership on TOUR and became eligible for the FedExCup Playoffs. He lost in a playoff two weeks later at the to finish T2. He finished T4 at the Deutsche Bank Championship and later shot a final-round 64 to finish T2 at the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola. At 20 years, 1 month and 26 days, Jordan Spieth became the youngest player reach the TOUR Championship and posted the best finish in the event by a rookie in the FedExCup era.

He is the second player to start a PGA TOUR season with no status and reach the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola, joining Tiger Woods (1996), but Spieth is the first to do it in the FedExCup era. He is also the youngest U.S. player to participate in The Presidents Cup, selected by U.S. Team Captain Fred Couples as one of his two captain’s picks.

Spieth finished T63 earlier this year in his only attempt at the Memorial.

The Presidents Cup: First appearance Memorial Tournament finishes: • 2013: T63

Steve Stricker - One of only three players to advance to the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola in each of the first seven years of the FedExCup (Phil Mickelson, Hunter Mahan), Steve Stricker proved this year that the quality of starts can be more important than the quantity. In a limited schedule this season, Stricker still delivered eight top 10s, with three of those coming in the FedExCup Playoffs (T2 at the Deutsche Bank Championship, which earned him an automatic berth on the U.S. Presidents Cup Team; T4 at the BMW Championship and a T2 at the TOUR Championship). In 13 tournaments, Stricker had four runner-up finishes and his worst finish was a T38. Stricker’s average finish in 13 events this year is 11.9, the best average finish on TOUR in 2013. This is Stricker’s fifth time playing in the Presidents Cup with a career record of 11-8. In his four previous Presidents Cup appearances, he has only had a losing record once, 2-3 in 1996. In his 13 tournaments at Muirfield Village, Steve Stricker has one top-10 finis, a victory in 2011.

Tiger Woods – Tiger Woods’ record in International Team competitions, especially The Presidents Cup, speaks for itself. He owns a record of 20-14-1 in The Presidents Cup and is one of four players to record a 5-0-0 record in one event (2009 at Harding Club) joining Mark O’Meara (1996), Shigeki Maryuama (1998) and Jim Furyk (2011). Woods’ 20 wins matches Jim Furyk for the most in tournament history. His five singles victories are the most in tournament history, as are his 10 victories in Foursomes play.

Woods owns victories this season at the , World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship, Invitational presented by MasterCard, and the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational. He was named PGA TOUR Player of the Year on Friday for a record 11 th time in his 16-year career. Woods has five victories at the Memorial in 14 attempts. International Team Bios

ANGEL CABRERA – Angel Cabrera has become a player who steps up when the lights are at their brightest. His two career PGA TOUR victories happen to be major championships (2007 U.S. Open, 2009 Masters). This year, as Adam Scott was memorably yelling, “C’MON AUSSIE!!!” on the 72 nd hole at Augusta National, all but cementing his name as the first Australian to ever win a green jacket, Cabrera stood in the fairway waiting to hit his approach while needing a birdie to force a playoff. Cabrera hit a 7- to 3 feet for birdie and the playoff was on. While he wasn’t able to win his second title, Cabrera again reminded us that when the chips are down, the Argentinian can be counted on to make a clutch shot.

This will be the fourth time that Cabrera has played in the Presidents Cup for the International Team (2005, 2007, 2009 and 2013).

The Presidents Cup: 2005, 2007, 2009, 2013 Memorial Tournament finishes: • 2012: Cut • 2011: T22 • 2010: Cut

JASON DAY – At just 25 years of age, Jason Day will play for International Team for the second time in his career. Like Cabrera, Day continues to build his reputation as a player who plays his best in the biggest tournaments. He posted three top-three finishes this year in the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, the Masters Tournament and the U.S. Open. He had four other top-10 finishes, including a T8 at the PGA Championship and a T4 at the BMW Championship heading into the Playoffs Finale. He was among the top 30 in the FedExCup standings since a sixth-place finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro- Am in February. His combined match-play record is 9-6-1. Day and his wife live nearby Muirfield, so despite being on the International Team, Day has great familiarity with Muirfield Village and may have a number of fans in the area.

The Presidents Cup: 2011, 2013 Memorial Tournament finishes: • 2013: T41 • 2012: Cut • 2010: T33 • 2009: T27 • 2008: Cut

BRENDON DE JONGE - Although still looking for his maiden PGA TOUR victory, Brendon de Jonge is having his best season in his six-year career. He boasts 12 top-25 finishes this year, including three in the FedExCup Playoffs. At the Deutsche Bank Championship, he recorded his fourth tournament with all four rounds in the 60s and his fourth top 10 of the season. No player had more birdies on the PGA TOUR in 2013 than the Zimbabwe native, who had 399 birdies in 2013. No wonder compatriot and International Team Captain Nick Price chose him as one of his captain’s picks for The Presidents Cup. With seven players making their Presidents Cup debut, the 2013 International Team will have the most first-time players of any team in the event’s history.

The Presidents Cup: First appearance Memorial Tournament finishes: • 2013: Cut • 2012: T38 • 2011: T63 • 2010: T12

GRAHAM DELAET - Graham DeLaet is enjoying the best season of his golf career since making it to the PGA TOUR for the first time in 2010. He has set career highs for top 25s (12) and top 10s (7), including a runner-up finish at The Barclays and a third-place finish at the Deutsche Bank Championship. His two top-three finishes within the FedExCup Playoffs vaulted him into seventh place in the points race and a spot in the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola for the first time. He finished the year at No. 8 in the standings. DeLaet is only the second Canadian to compete in the event ().

The Presidents Cup: First appearance Memorial Tournament finishes: • 2013: T21 • 2010: Cut

ERNIE ELS - A key contributor for the International Team in seven of the last eight editions of The Presidents Cup, Ernie Els will surely be a leader on a team with seven fresh faces. Els brings a career record of 17-16-2 in The Presidents Cup into the 2013 matches. He was forced to miss The Presidents Cup 2005 after sustaining a knee injury in July. In arguably the most dramatic moment in Presidents Cup history, Els and Tiger Woods squared off in extra holes to decide The Presidents Cup 2003. The pair tied three extra holes prior to darkness and the competition was declared a tie with the teams sharing the Cup.
