Groby Parish Council Minutes of a meeting of Groby Parish Council Planning & Development Committee held at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 24th September 2014 at the Parish Council Chamber, Leicester Road, Groby. Present Members: Cllr. Lindsay (Chairman) and Cllr. Hollick. Also present was Cllr. Coley (ex Officio). There were three (3) members of the Public present. P&D/059/14-15 Apologies Apologies had been received from Cllr. Douglas and Cllr. Beck who were absent on holiday. This was accepted by the members. P&D/060/14-15 Declarations of Interest There were no declarations of interest. P&D/061/14-15 Minutes RESOLVED to accept the minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 9th September 2014 as a true and accurate record. P&D/062/14-15 Public Participation The members of the public present had attended the meeting to voice their objections regarding planning application 14/00712/OUT – 19 Ratby Road and were advised that the application had been deemed by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council as “invalid upon receipt” and that H&BBC were requesting further information to be provided before the application would be validated and considered. P&D/063/14-15 Planning Applications a) 14/00712/OUT 19 Ratby Road – erection of 3 dwellings (outline – all matters reserved) - deemed by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council as “invalid upon receipt” b) 14/00799/HOU 4 White House Close – extension and alterations to dwelling – no objections subject to consultation with neighbours c) 14/00762/HOU 32 Lime Avenue – extensions and alterations to dwelling – no objections subject to consultation with neighbours 16 d) 14/00734/FUL Land Rear Of 223A Leicester Road Field Head Markfield Leicestershire LE67 9RF - Erection of a dwelling (Cross-boundary application with Charnwood Borough Council) - no objections subject to consultation with neighbours; request clarification for right of access and which District/Borough will be responsible for waste collections? e) 14/00593/ADV 11 Ratby Road – display of 2 poster cabinets (re-consultation) – STRONGLY object - in conservation area; issue of security for individuals using adjacent cash machine as the display boards can be used as a diversion for criminals to surreptitiously gain the pin numbers from individuals. f) 14/00689/HOU 8 Bedford Drive - extension and alterations to dwelling (re- consultation) – no objections subject to consultation with neighbours g) 14/00825/HOU 31 Stamford Drive - extensions and alterations to dwelling– no objections subject to consultation with neighbours h) 14/00853/HOU 10 Ratby Lane - extension and alterations to dwelling – no objections subject to consultation with neighbours P&D/064/14-15 Permission Granted 14/00675/HOU 7 Larchwood Avenue – extension and alterations to dwelling 14/00672/HOU 44 Flaxfield Close – extension and alterations to dwelling 14/00681/CONDIT Brookvale High School, Ratby Road - variation of condition of 1 of planning permission 2009/L010/04 to allow permanent siting of the mobile classroom 14/00770/TPO 30 & 41 Oakmeadow Way – works to trees – withdrawn 14/00692/HOU 48 Crane Ley Road - extension and alterations to dwelling 14/00748/FUL Unit A, GE Sensing Ltd, Fir Tree Lane – erection of replacement portal framed building These were noted by the members.
