On December 13, 2018, it was announced that the series would resume for a second season, which premiered on October 1, 2019. On January 16, 2020, Facebook Watch canceled the series after two seasons. Premise Sorry for Your Loss follows Lee Shaw, a young widow who is forced to reconsider her life and relationship after the death of her husband. Actors and Characters (L to R) Actress Elizabeth Olsen, screenwriter and producer Keith Steinkelner and James Ponsoldt, actor Mamudou Ati, have been interviewed at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival by Elizabeth Olsen as Lee Shaw, a writer and recently widowed woman. After her husband's death, she quits her job by writing a advice column for the website Mostly News and moving in with her mother and sister. She currently works as an instructor in her mother's fitness studio, Beautiful Beast. Kelly Marie Tran as Jules Shaw, a recovering alcoholic and Lee's sister, who also works for Beautiful Beast. Giovan Adepo as Danny Greer, Matt's brother, with whom Lee has always had a stinging relationship. Mamudou Ati as Matt Greer, a school English teacher and Lee's late husband, who had a desire to become a comic book artist. Janet McTeer as Amy Shaw, lee and Jules' mother, who owns and runs her own fitness studio, Beast. Drew Birmanter (recurring season 1, season 2), editor of Basic News, where Lee had a tip column, and Lee's best friend. He waits to tell Lee about his engagement to her boyfriend Ryan when they got engaged immediately after Matt's death. Recurring Aisha Alpha as Claire, the woman who heads the grief counseling group that Lee attends. Lyndon Smith as Lacey, an instructor in The Beautiful Beast, who has a rocky relationship with Jules. She gets closer with Jules as the two connect for their common battle with alcoholism. Ryan Reilly as Ryan, Drew's fiancee, who is caught flirting with another man with a text causing a split in their relationship. The couple got engaged after Matt's death after they came to the realization of the brevity of life. Lauren Robertson as Becca Urwin, a new member of the grief counseling group whose husband died while serving in the U.S. military in Afghanistan. She is new in Los Angeles and tries to make friends with Lee, believing that they can have a lot in common, but immediately fight back. She and Lee eventually connect during a visit to the spa, where she reveals that she has been putting up the front in order to please other people lying about her relationship with her late husband. While searching for the dog's owners, she called the dog a visitor as a reminder to her and Jules that the dog is only a temporary guest. The visitor evokes memories of Lee's early courtship with Matt when he first confessed to his depression and the use of prozac and introduced her to his dog, Rogue. Memories make Lee realize that Matt's password is the date of the Rogue's death. A secondary purpose of this research was to examine institutional context and governing ideologies of the choral music discipline. The study involved five choral music educators—including the researcher—of various ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds from Winnipeg, Manitoba. This research is grounded in what Beattie (1995) terms the dialectical and collaborative nature of narrative inquiry, but also looks to reflexive inquiry and life history methodologies (Cole & Knowles, 2000), as well as the practice of collective biography (Davies & Gannon, 2006) to shape its methodological framework. As such, autobiographical forms of self-study research are reconceptualized as collaborative self-study. Data collection methods included journal writing, personal in-depth interviews, and participant observation. In particular, regular focus group sessions, which included peer interviewing, played a central role throughout the research process. This forum allowed participants to share their musical life histories and ii interrogate each others’ narratives, thereby triggering musical memories and exposing the interconnectivity of musical pasts to current professional practice.

Even now, months later, it’s hardly possible to fathom such a violent act being perpetrated on Jews while they worship. While we are no strangers to anti-Semitic behavior, this particular event that took place in our own community has shaken us all. But even in the midst of such intense darkness, we found light. That very day, waves of shared outrage, grief, sympathy and even hope began to pour in from all over the world. In the subsequent weeks and months, support came to us from everywhere in every form. This book is a collection of some of the more than 500 letters received by JFCS, sending the victims and their families, community responders and service agencies and our entire city messages of love and solidarity. These letters told us that we weren’t alone. At JFCS, we have been comforted by these messages.
