I think so, a little bit” (On what the last three days have been like after finding out he was going to start in Week 17) “A similar routine to what I normally take in prepping for a game. Obviously, it's a little bit different knowing that you're playing, but my approach the entire year has been to try and prepare like you're the starter, so not much has changed. I got a little jump on the game plan Monday, Tuesday and then rolling into Wednesday.” (On how he is feeling at this point) “I feel great. It's been a fun journey for me getting to this point. It's a lot of hard work and I'm confident in the time I've spent that has gotten me here and I'm confident in my capabilities as a player. So, I know I can spin it, I know I can make the throws, then mentally it's about making the right decisions, giving us the best chance to win. So, I'm confident going into this week. I'm glad that the teams rallying around me. It'll be fun. (On has he been able to get any sleep) “I feel good. I've been sleeping fine. The first night I found out, I slept a little bit less than normal, but I think sleep is super important. I read a book called “Why We sleep” (By Matthew Walker).

ShoresteinSays.com 2020 - NFL Week 17 "The Money Zone": Games that have a “Calculated vs. Actual” difference of between 2 and 6 points are considered The Money Zone. Since 2015, games that fall within this tier have hit ~55% on a sample of over 600 games. I consider games in this tier to have a statistical advantage in the long run. This is a completely objective calculation that does not account for injuries, roster changes, weather etc. However, I believe the smartest investment is to make small bets on each one of these games and slowly increase them over time if you are successful. 2020 Week 17 Away Home Calculated Spread Actual Spread Calculated vs Actual Projected Winner ATS LA Chargers Kansas City (7.63) 3.50 11.13 Kansas City Baltimore Cincinnati 1.23 11.50 10.27 Cincinnati Pittsburgh Cleveland 3.27 (7.00) 10.27 Pittsburgh Tennessee Houston 0.17 7.50 7.33 Houston Miami Buffalo (6.07) - 6.07 Buffalo Las Vegas Denver 7.03 2.00 5.03 Las Vegas Arizona LA Rams (5.43) (1.00) 4.43 LA Rams Washington Philadelphia 5.40 1.50 3.90 Washington NY Jets New England (6.43) (3.00) 3.43 New England Green Bay Chicago 8.30 5.50 2.80 Green Bay Seattle San Francisco 2.70 5.50 2.80 San Francisco Dallas NY Giants 0.57 3.00 2.43 NY Giants New Orleans Carolina 4.20 6.00 1.80 Carolina Jacksonville Indianapolis (12.73) (14.00) 1.27 Jacksonville Atlanta Tampa Bay (7.37) (6.50) 0.87 Tampa Bay Minnesota Detroit 6.27 7.00 0.73 Detroit The Week 17 Money Zone picks are Las Vegas, LA Rams, Washington, New England, Green Bay, San Francisco, & NY Giants.

Rams QB John Wolford – Media Availability – January 7, 2021 (On his preparations in case he is the starting quarterback on Saturday) "I'm trying to treat it like I would any other week. Whether you're the two or the one, in my mind, your preparation should be the same. You’ve got to be ready to go. You don't know when your number is going to be called. So, not much has changed in that regard. I'll keep doing what I've been doing the past 17 weeks.” (On his experience playing in wet weather conditions) “I played in Florida growing up, so we had a few rain games. I think at Wake Forest, I had a few, a few cold weather games as well. I've done it before, and I think I'll be fine if I'm asked to play.” (On his evaluation after reviewing film from last week) “I think I made some plays in my legs, obviously, that sustained some drives. I thought I threw the ball pretty well. There are a few balls that were a little bit short. A few misses here and there that I would love to have back. So, the challenge for me is how can you execute those plays when you have those opportunities, because that's the difference between throwing for 230 (yards) and throwing for 350 (yards). So, it's a little bit more on tune with the receivers and that comes with reps. I can't make those decisions like I did the first play of the game that put our defense on the field at the 15-yard line.

  • LA Rams Ziehen in Die Nächste Runde Ein
