Easy To Follow Instructions 1. Hole Punching Mode Select the size of the die head you require 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm or 6 mm by trying the die to match an existing hole on a belt for example, test the hole size on a piece of cardboard to make sure Unscrew the existing die head that is in the plier end, opposite the brass anvil. To undo the existing die head use the little spanner: one end is a 10 mm opening and the other end is a 12 mm end. All the hole punching die heads require the use of the 10 mm spanner To loosen the die head use the spanner in an anti‐clockwise direction, to tighten and secure the die head use the spanner in a clock‐wise direction, make sure for safety reasons the die head has been securely tightened 2. Eyelet Grommet Insertion Mode Fix the Eyelet grommet heads ‐ one of them will allow the eyelet grommet to sit in it and the other side has a pyramid pointy like bit sticking out that is the piece that goes behind the grommet, the “inside” or hidden side of your finished eyelet grommet. Align the finished side sitting in the flattish head and the hidden side goes onto the pyramid part Ensure you have positioned the Eyelet Grommet in the right position on your target application and apply even pressure making sure that the heads are sitting evenly on the eyelet grommet 3. Press Stud Button Insertion Mode Fix the Press Stud Button grommet heads (these have the yellow plastic support fixtures) ‐ one of them will allow the “male” button grommet to sit in it (male part inside the Press Stud Head) and the other side has an inverted conical pyramid part that is the piece that holds the “pointy looking part” of the press stud fixture. Position the material where you want the male part of the press stud, the right way around and gently apply pressure as the button stud fixes itself through the material. Occasionally the yellow support fixtures will need to be peeled off the press stud button, this is normal, peel it off and re‐affix to the screw on end, by simply pushing it back on. Repeat the same procedure with the “female” part of the Press Stud Button Fix the Press Stud Button grommet heads (these have the yellow plastic support fixtures) ‐ one of them will allow the “female” button grommet to sit in it (female part inside the Press Stud Head) and the other side has an inverted conical pyramid part that is the piece that holds the “pointy looking part” of the press stud fixture. Position the material in the corresponding place where you want the “female” part of the press stud and the right way around and gently apply pressure as the button stud fixes itself through the material.
