Borrowing from Balinese gamelan, African, classical, and jazz traditions, Ziporyn has created groundbreaking, cross-cultural works with a downtown experimental sensibility. NUEVO ENSEMBLE DE SEGOVIA | CONCERT 6 ABOUT CHRISTINE SOUTHWORTH The Nuevo Ensemble de Segovia presents “Music from Women Composers from Spain.” Christine Southworth is a composer based in Lexington, Massachusetts, who is dedicated to Works by Ozaita, Arzamendi, Ruiz, Custodio, Zavala, Diez, Bofill, creating music born from a cross-pollination of sonic ideas. In 2003, she co-founded Ensemble and Lopez de Rego to be performed. Robot, a collaborative of artists and engineers that design and build musical robots.
