As a small island we are blessed to have so many talented food producers, artists and crafts people. We couldn’t possibly name them all, but here is a small selection to whet your appetite!

Don’t forget that all of these products and many more can be found at the islands regular Farmers and Artisan Markets.

Anglesey Farmers Market, A wide selection of quality food producers come together on the third Saturday of each month to form Farmers Market. Held at David Hughes School, Menai Bridge, the indoor location has plenty of space for leisurely browsing with lots of free parking space right outside.

Producers offer a diverse selection of produce from locally grown vegetables and freshly baked bread to organic mushrooms and fresh crab caught along the Anglesey coastline, as well as huge ranges of meat and mouth watering deserts.

Anglesey Mon Distillery, Producers of a range of alcoholic beverages creating on the island using Anglesey Spring Water. Choose from gin, whisky, vodka, brandy or rum!

Anglesey Water, Pentraeth Anglesey Spring is bottled at its source in a sun-drenched meadow, where it bubbles up, refreshingly clear and mineral-rich after its journey through ancient underground limestone rivers and streams, and finally up to the surface through the glacial gravel beds.

Anglesey Paper Company, Menai Bridge With a passion for creating locally-sourced products and offering unrivalled customer service, Anglesey Paper Company are an excellent example of artisan specialists in North Wales. This business has a strong commitment to ethical trade and succeeds in producing a range of beautiful items for the home – from lighting, to stationary, and unique journal books.

Beehive preserves The Jam Factory, Bay Fancy tasting as many delicious jams and marmalades with homemade scones and bara brith. Visitors are welcome to visit the traditional Welsh farmhouse surrounding and purchase their products in the farmhouse shop.

Benjamin Lee Chocolatier, Menai Bridge Based in Menai Bridge this beautiful chocolatier stocks a whole range of handmade chocolates and a unique range of cakes.

Bryn Celyn, Dulas At Bryn Celyn Farm Shop and Country Kitchen you’ll find a mouth-watering selection of products, either produced directly at Bryn Celyn or specially selected from other local producers. There’s a wide range to choose from, from eggs and cheese to preserves and meat, but the one thing that all products in our farm shop have in common is their quality.

Caws Rhyd y Delyn A family run dairy farm on the beautiful isle of Anglesey, Rhyd y Delyn makes its award winning artisan cheese from its own cows’ creamy milk. The pedigree Holstein Friesian cows are all bred on the farm and graze on lush grass pasture during the spring and summer months. Their milk travels just 30 metres to the farm’s small modern dairy where the cheese is created.

Halen Mon Sea salt, Brynsiencyn Halen Môn has wowed the culinary world with its pure, high-quality salt and delicious flavour combinations. The natural sea salt is harvested straight from the shores of North Wales and is a sparkling tribute to Anglesey’s natural beauty and rich natural resources.

Hootons Home Grown farm shop, Llanfairpwll At Hooton’s they grow their our own fruit and vegetables and rear our their own livestock. It’s all carefully handpicked, butchered and prepared on site, ensuring quality, freshness and a better flavour!

James Pringle Weavers, Llanfairpwll Located at Llanfairpwllgwyngullgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch this large store greets guests with hosts in traditional Welsh costure. Here you can buy Welsh gifts and souvenirs, Portmeirion pottery and a range of local liqueurs.

Janet Bell Art Gallery, Janet Bell Gallery is the award-winning gallery owned by Anglesey artist Janet Bell in the charming town of Beaumaris. Here you can buy a wide variety of prints, paintings and stationery.

Oriel Ynys Mon, Oriel Ynys Môn is a museum and arts centre located in Llangefni, Anglesey, Wales. A two-part centre, the History Gallery provides an insight into the island's culture, history and environment. The Art Gallery has a changing programme of exhibitions, encompassing art, craft, drama, sculpture and social history.

Llynnon Mill, Llandeusant Llynnon Mill, built in 1775, is the only working windmill in Wales producing stoneground wholemeal flour using organic wheat.
